  Bruton's Glass Co., Inc. is a family owned and operated glass shop established in 1979. We serve the entire Sacramento region as well as parts of Placer and El Dorado Counties. We are committed to providing fast, professional and courteous service to our customers while offering the best quality available in parts and workmanship at a fair and competitive price. Our installers are trained to replace auto glass, including domestic, foreign, recreational vehicles and heavy equipment. Installers also handle replacement of side and rear view mirrors and repairs on car door glass that doesn't operate properly, in addition to making repairs on power window mechanisms. They also handle residential window applications and make table tops and re-screen windows.

  YOU HAVE THE LEGAL RIGHT TO CHOOSE a glass repair facility just like you have the right to choose an insurance company, so BE SURE you request us BY NAME. Bruton's Glass Co., Inc. is approved by all major insurance networks and honored by most insurance companies in the United States. Just call us with your insurance information and after verifying coverage, we will process all the insurance paperwork for you.

Auto glass replacement most often falls under the comprehensive coverage on your car insurance policy; therefore, we find it advisable to keep a lower comprehensive deductible. Insurance premiums increase minimally with reduced comprehensive deductibles, and comprehensive claims do not adversely affect your annual premiums. Over a period of time, your windshield may become pitted, creating poor visibility at night or when it rains. Your comprehensive coverage would also cover windshields that become pitted over time. This is another reason to keep a lower comprehensive deductible because your insurance company will pay for the replacement.
  Repairs
  You may want to consider repairing your windshield if the damage is smaller than the size of a quarter. Many insurance companies will waive your deductible for a repair and most repairs only take about 30 minutes. Repairs will restore the windshield's structural integrity and prevent the break from spreading; however, repairs are not normally recommended for damage within the driver's vision. Ask us to help determine if a repair or replacement would be right for you.

It also restrains people from being ejected from the vehicle during accidents, supports the air bag system, increases visibility, provides you with built-in antennas, defrosters, contour shapes and tinted or shaded glass. Air bags can exert extreme pressure against the windshield during an accident; therefore, who you choose to install your windshield may save your life! A quality urethane and primers must be used in order to guarantee the safe installation of your windshield and the car must not be driven until the urethane is cured.
